It feels wrong not to finish the year with the tradition on the end of year poem which is always read out to the team at our ‘last family lunch’ together before heading into the Christmas break!

We did our last wedding of 2025, the weekend of 20th December and what a send off to this year it was!

Kasia & Jack – 21st December 2024

It is almost 1 year since we hosted the gorgeous Kasia & Jack for their nuptials at Thicket Priory. This was a wedding celebration with music at it’s heart; from Kasia having some of her music students singing in the ceremony, to a ‘first song’ instead of a ‘first dance’, it just felt magical from start to finish.

We have completed our very first full 12-month stint of wedding celebrations at Thicket Priory, and wow what a year it has been. After opening in July 2019, hosting only 9 weddings before the world went crazy; plus 2, small but special celebrations during the restrictions, we could not be happier to be busier than ever!
