AUTUMN WEDDING INSPIRATION

Jewel tones, dried flowers and sparklers are just some of our favourite features of Autumn weddings, and paired with how the venue looks at this time of year, Thicket Priory provides the perfect setting for the ultimate warm and cosy home-away-from-home wedding.

The overall theme…

Oranges, reds, and greens complement an Autumnal wedding perfectly, whether these be for your invitations, bouquets or bridesmaid dresses…

Suits, Dresses & Accessories…

The long-sleeved dresses, jewel-toned bridesmaid dresses, and three-piece suits tend to be seen more in Autumn weddings due to the change in weather, and for obvious reason – just look how stunning they are…

Flowers…

Whether fresh or dried, the autumnal bouquets and flower arrangements are everything…

Food, drink, and all the fun stuff….

Incorporating the season into your catering and wedding day activities makes the whole of your wedding tie together perfectly – those themed cocktails have definitely been on everyone’s wedding Pinterest board…

For those warmer autumn evenings, we can set up the fire pit outside to give everyone the opportunity to enjoy the terrace – sparklers are also extremely popular, in all seasons but particularly in Autumn! Indoor games tend to be seen more at this time of year as well, Mark and Georgie used the morning room for shuffleboard, air hockey and retro games consoles. It was safe to say we lost many people to that space for the evening!

Autumn wedding meals tend to be more hearty, sharing food rather than the lighter meals seen in summer – you can work with your caterer to create a personalised menu for you and your guests to enjoy!
