What is the cost to hire the venue?
Venue hire price is dependent on the time of year, a one-night or two-night hire and whether it’s a midweek or weekend wedding… for a full price guide click here
What is your payment schedule?
To secure your date, we require a 10% non-refundable booking fee, then there are two further payments – 6 months prior a further 40% of the venue hire, and 1 month prior the final 50% plus drinks and any extras, such as z-beds and cots.

FAQs
The day before the wedding we generally open the bar at the time you have agreed for check-in, whether that be 3pm, 4pm or 5pm. Last orders are generally around 10.30pm, with the bar closing at 11pm, so that you are all bright eyed and bushy tailed for the wedding day.
The wedding day the bar would generally open an hour before the ceremony, so if marrying at 1pm, the bar would be open at 12pm, with last orders being between 12am-12.30am, and the bar closing between 12.30am-1am, all prep-planned and inline with your ‘last dance’ so that we ensure you have everyone on the dancefloor for this, rather than at the bar!
2. Can we store items at the venue before and after the wedding?
As we don’t do ‘back to back’ weddings, so no check-in and check-out on the same day, you have time before your guests arrive to come with your set-up items, get settled into your bedrooms, and do anything you wish to do in the venue before everyone starts to check-in. Timings of this will be something we talk through during the planning stages.
After the wedding we do ask that you take everything with you rather than storing anything with us, as I’m sure you can imagine, we would end up with a lot of items kept in storage, which we just don’t have the space for. Any special items which may need to be picked up after the wedding, we would make arrangements during your planning.
3. Is there adequate parking for guests and vendors?
Yes we have a fully hard-cored grass carpark for guests to park, keeping the space in front of the venue clear for photographs.
There is also access for suppliers and parking which we can ensure they are aware of before coming to Thicket Priory.
