Local Area
Few cities in the world can rival York for history and character. A picturesque riverside city encircled by a ribbon of ancient walls, York has a fascinating provenance that stretches back 2,000 years. Being a 20 minutes’ drive from the second most visited city in the UK after London will surely be an additional attraction for your guests, who may even decide to extend their stay.

There are 30 Parking spaces to the front of the Priory and over 100 spaces in the grassed overflow car park. Coaches can access the drive and can turn in front of the house.

Candles
We allow candles in the main ballroom and in the bar, however, these must be contained within a holder, lantern or hurricane glass. We do not allow candles elsewhere in the building.
